本課程主要在使學生能利用寒暑假或平日上課之空檔，實地到現場實習，俾對機械工程實務﹐如生產技術、設計、製造、以及管理、產銷等課題上，有親身的體驗與見習之機會，另一方面也藉以熟悉國內機械產業的環境。
The aim of this course is to let students be familiar with machine shops and the practical affairs in diverse industrial areas. Through practicum and visit in a company students can learn more about research, design and development, production, administration, and marketing affairs. By understanding the industrial environment, development and competition, students will be encouraged to intensively learn in the mechanical and its related disciplines.

1.The total time of the field practice must be 4 weeks, total 20 days. Each day must have 8 practice hours. In principle, the field practice is arranged in summer and winter vacation.
2.After confirming the practicum organization and the practicum time, the students must register by filling up the document “Form1.doc”. (the basic data of the field practice student)
3.The paper report and the assessment report must be filled up in accordance with the specified requirements and forms. (Form2.doc:Guideline for paper report, Form3.doc: Form of paper report, Form4.doc: Assessment report)
